Thank you campaigners |
A massive thank you for helping make dementia an election issue.
For the first time ever all political parties pledged to fight dementia in their election manifestos. This is a fantastic achievement and is thanks to your tireless campaigning. As the general election furore calms down we will work hard to ensure that the new government delivers for those living with dementia. We hope we can continue to count on your support. What next? The fight against dementia continues. Alzheimer’s Society is asking people about their experiences of social care to help influence the next government and make sure that dementia remains high on the political agenda. +Nicola is a campaigner for the Alzheimer's society. Her own mother suffered with the illness for some 8 years. Please visit their website and see how you can support them helping, in a broader sense, the thousands of people with Alzheimer's and their families. Dear Sister Maria Renate
In this week as we celebrate the aspects of our lives for which we are thankful, I give thanks for you.
Your support and prayers this year have given life to the many church justice programs and chapters that make up Call To Action. Together, we are bringing hope to the millions of Catholics who seek a better way for our church and world. I am deeply grateful.
Wishing you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving,

Jim FitzGerald, Executive Director
The 11 year old Order of On Call Clergy has been returned to its founding simplicity and has been re-launched by its founding bishop, Charles Michael, Episcopal Visitor of our own ECC+C.
