A warm welcome to the Ecumenical Church Communites under the ECC+C in and around England. The ECC+C is a people-focused Apostolic Church in an Open and Reformed catholic Tradition. We are uncomplicated catholics with a small c, as were the founders of the Early Church, and have only the  Gospel embedded within our core. No bells, no smells.

As one of the smaller and less well-publicised Christian denominations we play an important role in helping to provide people who are unchurched or who feel disenfranchised, with a fresh path to Christian worship and/or discipleship. For years we have aimed to continue the work of the Apostles by transforming lives through the Gospel.

The ECC+C is an uncomplicated Christian Church, sharing with every single church in the world, a universal 'catholic' history. We work alongside other denominations and bring together Reformed Catholics, Lutherans and other open traditions, to live out the prayer of Christ; that we all may all be one. We are committed towards meeting the pastoral and spiritual needs of our local communites to the best of our abilities.

We, like so many others, want to return the Church Jesus Christ founded to the people He intended for it to belong.

Our classification is Reformed Catholic, our Polity is Episcopal and our charism is Lutheran or Franciscan and we are faithful to an Open Church ethos.

Fantastic news! After years of work and planning, we have had a massive step forward with the Bereavement Rescue Centre. Frustrated by the interdependance of grants, land ownership and planning permission and unable to break the stalemate between these factors, we decided to take a rather different approach.

We wrote to the Prime Minister, David Cameron. It seemed a drastic step - but it is one that has seriously worked out. Mr Cameron gave us fantastic support and forwarded our proposal to the Department of Health and the Department of Communities and Local Government, who appointed a 'Barrier Buster' to our project.

The Barrier Buster made suggestions about who to approach who might let us have the use of land for the Centre, but who would not then sell the land once we had achieved the necessary planning permission.

We cannot yet say very much more about the location, other than that it is in the New Forest and it is perfect. More and more local people wanting to support the project are coming forward to offer their help by donating their professional services.

Prayer For St Agnes.

Almighty and everlasting God, who chooses those whom the world deems powerless, to put the powerful to shame: Grant us so to cherish the memory of the youthful martyr Agnes, that we may share her pure and steadfast faith in you; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Our society, named after St Agnes, is a non-aggressive support network for men and women advocating reform within the RCC leading to the ordination of Roman Catholic women. We also 'fight' peacably for honest acceptance of women already working in ordained ministry who are covertly untolerated.

Rev'd Paul has just finished recording 'Prayer for the day' for the Lutheran Church radio. His meditations will be broadcasted later in 2012.  Rev'd Paul has been asked by the Lutheran Church Radio to participate in broadcasts on Bereavement which he is in talks at this time to make this a reality. He and Rev'd Nicola want to fully embrace this as part of a local community initiative to fulfill their duties as local pastoral Ministers.

We are keen to further promote our support for our sister and colleague Morag Leibert and the Roman Catholic Womenpriests and we want to try and help them make their organisation more widely known in England. It already thrives in Europe & USA.
